Precision. Protection.

Our Technology

Precision powers trust.
Our advanced optical systems enhance sharpness and contrast, capturing the clearest images to truly understand the fish population.

Protection ensures healthier fish.
We’re developing parasite control that acts early, safeguarding fish from lice and handling - to protect health, welfare, and quality.

Lice count, Growth and Welfare insight

Knowing the biological situation in the pen is key to supporting fish health and growth. Our FishID technology prevents double-counting and ensures data truly represents the population. Over time, individual health journals will unlock deeper insights, enabling precise tracking across fish groups, weight classes, and welfare trends.

Parasite Protection

Our goal is simple: remove lice as early as possible after attachment. Preventive action is applied at the individual level, with FishID ensuring distribution across the population for optimal coverage.

Built on iFarm Technology

Our upcoming product builds on core technology developed through the iFarm project, an ambitious collaboration between Biosort and Cermaq. Over four production cycles, iFarm delivered major breakthroughs in imaging, FishID, data infrastructure, and individual health journals that track developments for individual fish. This foundation now powers a more compact and targeted solution, with an added focus on early lice intervention to improve fish health and reduce environmental impact.

Proven Through Science

Scientific testing and documentation lie at the heart of our development. We collaborate with leading research institutes to evaluate and validate our solution. Over the years, we’ve built close partnerships with institutions such as Nofima and IMR, and engaged in research projects with NMBU, the Norwegian Veterinary Institute, SINTEF Ocean, and NTNU.
